Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 July 2026
1. Overview
Dromes of Perim is a non-commercial fan project. This policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, and your choices. We do not sell personal data.
2. What we collect
- Discord identity — user ID, display name, and avatar URL when you sign in. We request the
identifyscope only; we do not ask Discord for your email and do not store one. - Game data — tribe choice, collection, decks, scanquest progress, trades, match history, ranked ratings, achievements, and similar gameplay records tied to your account.
- Technical logs — server logs (errors, request metadata, match lifecycle events) for debugging and abuse prevention. Logs are not used for advertising.
- Bug reports — optional match bug submissions you send through the in-game form.
3. Why we use it
- Authenticate you and maintain your session.
- Run gameplay features (collection, PvP, ranked leagues, trades).
- Operate, secure, and improve the beta.
- Respond to abuse, cheating reports, and stability incidents.
4. Where data lives
Data is stored in secure databases operated for this service. Discord OAuth tokens for your linked account are stored to maintain sign-in. Card art is served from our web app; it is third-party intellectual property used for reference in this fan project.
5. Retention
Account and gameplay data is kept while your account is active. Live match detail is kept only briefly for gameplay and debugging. You may delete your account from your profile; we anonymize your user row and retain non-identifying game records where needed for integrity.
6. Children
Sign-in requires a Discord account. Discord's terms set the minimum age to create an account (currently 13 in most regions). We do not collect age directly. If you believe a Discord account used to sign in here is ineligible, report that user to Discord — not to us. Open their profile in Discord, choose Report User Profile, and follow the prompts for an age or Terms of Service violation. See Discord's guide: How to report content or behavior to Discord. Discord sets and enforces account eligibility; we rely on their enforcement rather than operating our own age verification.
7. Your choices
- Delete your account from Profile → Delete account.
- Revoke Discord OAuth access from your Discord settings (sign-in will stop working).
- Stop using the service at any time.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
